Scott Jones, who was photographed kissing his girlfriend Alex Thomas in an attempt to calm her when she was knocked down during the riot in Vancouver last Wednesday, reportedly turned down an estimated $10 million dollars in advertising because all the unwanted attention is “too much”.
Still are we talking the Today Show or Good Morning America perhaps??? Nope! The couple plans on moving forward with their planned 3-week vacation starting with California.

French govt BANS facebook & twitter from radio/tv!
The C.S.A. (Conseil supérieur de l’audiovisuel) has stated that unless it is directly related to a story, radio and television channels can no longer use the words “facebook” and “twitter” on air.
A spokesperson for the C.S.A shared the reason behind the ban which basically means not giving these 2 sites preference over the other social networks which are “struggling” to be recognized.

We gotta admit this makes us really sad! But Gwen Stefani shared with EW that her solo venture was in fact an inspirational “phase” that lasted longer than it should have but sadly for us, it has “passed”.
The 41-year-old rock-goddess also talked about the NEW no doubt record which should be out later this year, and next April get ready for a “happy” album! Can’t wait!

Shahrukh might be coming out with an autobiography pretty soon!
Now this we would definitely read!!! According to NDTV, SRK’s (seen here dancing with Priyanka Chopra at NDTV’s Greenathon event) official autobiography written by the superstar himself is almost ready after being worked on for years.
Titled Twenty Years in a Decade, the book promises to be “fun” and about “positivity and hope” just like the author.
So what would be his favorite chapter in the book? The one about his mother and father which Shahrukh shared with reporters is 8 pages long.

Maharashtra raises the drinking age for hard liquor!
That’s right! No longer can you consume hard liquor in the state of Maha if you are under the age of 25.
The decision was made part of the “de-addiction policy” which means tighter control around alcohol abuse and illegal sales.
But there is good news…the legal age for consuming beer is still 21 and wine? There is no age stipulation for wine!

Evangelist announces another date for the end of the world!
Admitting that he was “slightly mistaken” when the world did not end on the day he said it would (Saturday, May 21st), Harold Camping has decided to take a shot at another date which he says will be October 21st.
According to Camping, the world should have ended last Saturday due to an enormous earthquake, no telling what his prediction will be for Oct 21st. Now remember everyone, you only have about 5 months left…so live it up now!
